Lahnie Johnson, President and Founder

Acoustiblok was founded by Lahnie Johnson over 20 years ago. Johnson originally worked in the aerospace industry for several prestigious aerospace companies during the Apollo moon missions. Like all entrepreneurial people, Johnson was determined to go into business for himself. Working with acoustics and audio he eventually developed a passion for the challenging science of “sound abatement.” This was an area in which few sound reduction products were forthcoming on the open market. As such, Johnson has developed and engineered many acoustical products to meet the market’s demand. Johnson is an engineer, visionary, and entrepreneur. He continues to inspire his team with a passion for advancements in acoustical isolation. His genuine concern for creating better sounding environments drives him to continue to innovate new products and educate the world on the effects of sound in our everyday lives.
