The firm’s notable projects in recent years have included the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta; Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas; Michael W. Krzyzewski Center for Athletic Excellence in Durham, N.C.; Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles; and the USF Health Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS) in Tampa.

Mark House, Managing Director

Managing Director for the Florida Division, Mark House is responsible for all design, construction and real estate services Beck offers. He holds a Florida Class “A” General Contractor’s license as well as an engineering degree, specializing in aerospace engineering. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, he served for more than five years on active duty and is a Master Parachutist and a U.S. Army Ranger. Upon leaving the military in 1985, House began his commercial construction career in Tampa. Joining Beck in 1999, he was responsible for developing the firm’s new Integrated Services Division. In 2002, he was selected as the Chief Human Resource Officer for the company and moved to the corporate headquarters in Dallas. During his tenure, Beck was selected for various awards honoring a quality work environment, including a ranking on Fortune Magazine’s “Top Places to Work” list. In 2006, House was chosen to lead the Florida Division in Tampa.
