Cott is one of the world’s largest producers of beverages on behalf of retailers, brand owners and distributors. Cott produces multiple types of beverages in a variety of packaging formats and sizes, including carbonated soft drinks, 100% shelf stable juice and juice-based products, clear, still and sparkling flavored waters, energy products, new age beverages and ready-to-drink teas, as well as alcoholic beverages for brand owners. Jerry Fowden, CEO

Jerry Fowden has been Cott’s CEO since February 2009 having joined Cott in September 2007. Prior to joining Cott, he served as CEO of Trader Media Group, undertook various roles with ABInBev including global COO and CEO of the ABInBev subsidiary Bass Brewers, was Managing Director of the Rank Group’s Hospitality Division & served on the Rank Group Plc’s Board of Directors, was CEO of Hero Ag’s multiple European beverage operations and undertook various international roles within PepsiCo’s beverage operations & within Mars UK’s Pedigree Petfoods operations.

 

Fowden currently serves on the Board of Directors of Constellation Brands Inc. a premium alcoholic beverage company & the American Beverage Association. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Guardian Media Group Plc, Chesapeake Corporation a global packaging company and on the advisory Board of Tchibo UK a premium coffee company & retailer.

 

His educational background and other advisory roles and achievements include holding a bachelor’s degree in food science and management studies from King’s College University of London (formerly QEC), being a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Brewers, a Freeman of the City of London and having been an advisory member of the UK Governments Coastal Tourism Regeneration Taskforce. Fowden is also the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 National Winner for Consumer & Retail.
