Michael Schultz, President and CEO

Michael Schultz serves as President and CEO of the West Florida Region and Executive Vice President of the Florida Division of Adventist Health System that includes nine hospitals located in or near the Tampa Bay area. Schultz has been a Vice President with Adventist Health System (AHS) since 2000, initially as President and CEO of the Appalachia Region, which included Park Ridge Hospital in Fletcher, North Carolina and three hospitals in eastern Kentucky and Tennessee. Prior to joining AHS, Schultz had an extensive background in finance and hospital administration at health care facilities in California, Illinois and Tennessee. He received his bachelor’s in business administration from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tenn. and his master’s of business administration from Loyola University of Chicago. Schultz has served in his community as President and Board Member of the American Heart Association, member of Rotary International and Board Member of the Executive Board of Fletcher Area Business Association.
