Irma Relief Donation Drive at the Tampa Hillsborough EDC Offices, Now – 9/22

In the past several days, more than 300 volunteers have prepared more than 50,000 meals to distribute to vulnerable and impacted families pre and post Irma – and this is just the beginning!

To keep the momentum going Tampa Strong, we are partnering with Feeding Tampa Bay as a collection site starting today and until Friday, 9/22.

You can drop off specific food items and supplies (unwanted/unused hurricane prep items, ready-to-eat foods, toiletries, cleaning supplies and more) at the Tampa Hillsborough EDC offices, 101 East Kennedy BLVD, Suite 1750 during normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Donation drop-off boxes are stationed in our CareerSource conference room.  All items collected will be distributed to vulnerable and impacted families pre and post Irma.

WHAT DO OUR NEIGHBORS NEED MOST?

  • Canned ready-to-eat items with pull tops (vegetables, fruit)
  • Protein in pouches or pull-top cans (tuna, beef stew, chili, canned chicken)
  • Snacks (granola bars, breakfast bars, etc)
  • Peanut butter
  • Toiletries
  • Paper goods
