    HILLSBOROUGH AND PINELLAS COUNTIES, FL – LaunchCode, a national nonprofit that connects aspiring technologists with apprenticeships and jobs in tech, has opened applications for LC 101 Tampa Bay, a free 23-week computer programming course designed to put people on a path towards a career in technology. Irma Relief Donation Drive at the Tampa Hillsborough EDC Offices, Now – 9/22

  In the past several days, more than 300 volunteers have prepared more than 50,000 meals to distribute to vulnerable and impacted families pre and post Irma – and this is just the beginning!   To keep the momentum going Tampa Strong, we are partnering with Feeding Tampa Bay as a collection site starting today and until Friday, 9/22.   You can drop off specific food items and supplies (unwanted/unused hurricane prep items, ready-to-eat foods, toiletries, cleaning supplies and more) … Continued

    ATLANTA – The U.S. Small Business Administration has added more counties to the disaster declaration in Florida affected by Hurricane Irma that began on Sept. 4, 2017.   The disaster declaration covers the counties of Broward, Charlotte, Clay, Collier, Duval, Flagler, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Palm Beach, Pinellas, Putnam, Sarasota and Saint Johns in Florida which are eligible for both Physical and Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the SBA.
