The Tampa Bay Business Journal (TBBJ) is one of more than 43 weekly business newspapers across the country owned by American City Business Journals, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advance Publications. Advance boasts “sister” titles such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, the New Yorker, Architectural Digest, GQ and Condé Nast Traveler. Additionally, they own approximately 24 daily newspapers as well as Bright House Networks. They are the largest, privately held publishing company in the world. The TBBJ is best known for local, breaking, business news and information that cannot be gotten anywhere else. They are a daily, and often a minute-by-minute, news organization that posts updates on their various social media channels. Bridgette Bello, Publisher

Bridgette Bello was named publisher of the Tampa Bay Business Journal in February 2007. She is a longtime advertising and media professional with more than 20 years of experience who became the first woman publisher in the newspaper’s 25-year history. She is a five-time winner of the prestigious Eagle Award, an annual competition within American City Business Journals. As Advertising Director, she consistently ranked in the top 3 in the company, and as Publisher, she managed the #1 market in the chain for 2010 and 2011, breaking all previous records in 2012 and 2013. Bello also serves as a Governor Appointed Trustee for St. Petersburg College, Florida Economic Education Business Hall of Fame’s Selection Committee, Board of Fellows for the University of Tampa, Board of Directors for The Spring of Tampa Bay, the St. Petersburg College’s College of Business Advisory Committee and volunteer fundraiser for Rock Solid All-Star Cheerleading. She was the St. Petersburg Chamber Business Woman of the Year for 2011 and Best Mom’s of the Bay for 2012.
