Why Tampa?: All you need to know about locating or expanding in Florida’s #1 market

Wednesday, January 27th

1:00 – 2:00 pm EST

Join us for the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation’s first webinar in an exciting new series. Designed to educate corporate executives and site selectors about the many forms of state and local business assistance available to them in Hillsborough County, these free webinars will cover a variety of topics ranging from incentives to export assistance.

If you’re considering a new location in Tampa and Hillsborough County or are planning to add more high-wage jobs and expand your existing business here, the EDC can guide you through the process, saving you time, money and legwork.

Steve Morey, Vice President of Business Development, will begin with a brief overview of the Tampa area’s business climate, demographics, workforce, quality of life, and other competitive intelligence. You’ll learn about the target industries that are shaping the future of the region, and the opportunities within key sectors such as financial and professional services; manufacturing; logistics and distribution; information technology; life sciences; and defense and security.

Steve will share how the EDC can help with:

  • Local market expertise
  • Confidential site selection assistance
  • Custom research and business intelligence
  • Expedited permitting
  • Workforce training
  • Navigating the incentive application process

You’ll also get the inside scoop on two recent projects – a new location and a homegrown business expansion – to gain a better understanding of how the EDC might serve your specific needs.
