Award-winning UK-based niche technology recruitment agency is opening a new office in Tampa and plans to create 100 new jobs immediately

TAMPA, FL – (May 8, 2018) – Specialist IT staffing firm Frank Recruitment Group has chosen Tampa as the new home of its next US office and has created 100 new sales consultant jobs to fill the new space.

“We’re thrilled to build an exciting and dynamic team here in Florida,” said Sunny Ackerman, President of Americas at Frank Recruitment Group, who is driving the business’ US reach and expansion. “The fight for the best tech talent is absolutely putting Tampa on the map because it ranks very well in terms of quality of life and is famously pro-business.

“Tampa also has one of the fastest growing technology labor pools in the country and a burgeoning millennial population looking for exciting careers, so opening a new office here was an absolute no-brainer for us.”

Full training is provided to all new sales consultants through the company’s bespoke recruitment course, Frank University, which equips consultants with the skills and knowledge to succeed in a career with the company.

The Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation connected Frank Recruitment Group to resources that could provide the company with expedited permitting and workforce training grants.

The office, located in the heart of downtown Tampa at 501 E. Kennedy Blvd, will officially open on June 4, 2018 and will be Frank Recruitment Group’s sixth US hub, joining Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco and two offices in New York City. The Tampa office will deliver NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, and Cloud recruitment and plans to employ over 100 people ranging from graduates to sales and recruitment professionals.

“We’re excited to have Frank Recruitment Group opening an office in Tampa,” said Mayor Bob Buckhorn, City of Tampa. “They recognize that this city is becoming a magnet for some of the best talent in the country, and that the potential for growth here is outstanding. We thank them for choosing Tampa and wish them a prosperous future in this market.”

The city is no stranger to technology innovation, with recent figures showing a 55% increase in the total tech workforce. Florida is shaking its stereotype of beaches and retirement homes as a new generation of young and tech savvy entrepreneurs are making this southern state one of the hottest places to launch a startup.

The United States is a crucial market, and the ongoing investment underpins the intentions of the company to remain the go-to solution for niche technology staffing needs.

“The Tampa Bay region’s economic competitiveness relies on our ability to keep attracting and retaining highly skilled talent,” said Dr. Alan F. List, MD, chairman of the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation and president and CEO of Moffitt Cancer Center. “With Frank Recruitment Group’s arrival, we will have another formidable ally in helping our employers find the people they need to build high performance teams.”

The opening of the Tampa office builds on a period of significant momentum for Frank Recruitment Group. In 2016, TPG Growth, the middle market and growth equity fund of alternative asset firm TPG, invested in the company.

“At TPG Growth, we identify and invest in disruptive models that look to ultimately transform industries,” said Shamik Patel, Principal at TPG Growth. “As more and more industries adopt the latest technologies, the demand for specialized experts will continue to grow. This means there is a need for an efficient and effective approach to placing the best candidates in the best jobs. We look forward to continuing the company’s growth in Tampa and across the globe.”

Since 2016, Frank Recruitment Group has continued to invest heavily, seeing global employee headcount grow to over 1,000, as well as opening new offices in Newcastle upon Tyne, Berlin, Philadelphia and Dallas, and launching three new brands: NetSuite specialists Anderson Frank, Java specialists Pearson Frank, and AWS specialists FRG Technology Consulting.
